Electrone has now released the custom range of the 720S serial key pads which integrate with a number of Zebra Technology printer model ranges. These new 720Zprinter keypads are available in a range of key pad formats to accommodate the number of different environments where they may be implemented. They can be either numeric or alpha/numeric depending upon the type of input or printing required. Desktop housings with regular (or custom) keys, wipe-clean keys or protective rubber buttons can be specified. In addition, the wall mount housing could also be implemented if required.  The key pads have custom firmware and cables which allow them to integrate with any of the Zebra printers running the compatible version of ZBI (Zebra Basic Interpreter). In addition, a control application for the key pad is required on the printer and is available either from Zebra or can be developed specifically to customer/partner requirements with assistance from Zebra andElectrone.  This integration means that there are a range of Desktop and Mobile printer solutions now available for such environments where a standalone solution is required.
