Electrone Keypads

Electrone has a wide variety of highly efficient keypads that offer several features and various connectivity options to satisfy all clients and customers.

Electrone’s 720’s series of terminals offers great variety in their capabilities. They are able to directly connect onto the Internet or Intranet using an RJ45 connection with or without PoE capabilities. The Electrone keypad product range offers connectivity capabilities with USB, PS2, Graphic and Numeric 2-line displays and serial connectivity. These products are also able to use a chip card reader, magnetic stripe reader, or biometrics reader on most models.

With Electrone’s range of different pin pad options and layouts, there’s great flexibility and customization available. All 720 series keypads come with a basic set of commands that can integrate into existing applications. Electrone also offers a customization service to expand the firmware so that all user requirements can be met. The units also have the option to send SMTP messages to a main “mail server.” This firmware can also be used in a wide variety of houses, such as new outdoor metal housing or in other challenging environments.

In order to work in all housing markets, the 720 series can be ordered as a desktop model with a wipe-clean membrane keypad option, or standard keypad. The keypads can also be ordered with the choice of two wall-mount housings for use with remote monitoring or access control applications.

Mini Panel Mountable Keyboard

Keyboards must be used to control machinery even in businesses operating in wet environments. In one Canadian junkyard, the processing of dismantling cars and disposing parts is carried out with the use of the Electrone 9005R keyboard.

This keyboard can be inserted onto any machine below its panel. The connection interfaces or panels can be swapped in situations when machines become too old for the latest connection interfaces.

The Electrone 9005 mini keyboard has several benefits, including a metal plate, is panel mountable, works with PS/2 or USB interfaces, tactile keys or wipe clean membranes, and can be programmed in foreign languages. Furthermore, the Electrone 9053 model includes a touch pad for further convenience. If needed, the membrane of all keypads can be easily replaced.

Electrone 720 Industrial Metal Ethernet Keypad

In hard environments, like production lines, the Electrone 720 SMO Metal Keypad is ideal and provides a 4 x 20 blue back light LCD display. One version of this keypad is currently used by one production line that assembles plastic caps and bottles to assist in operating and inputting commands into the production machine.

These Ethernet ready keypads are made of stainless steel and can be conveniently mounted on a side of machines to help make it easier to operate. These keypads do not need a specific mounting panel or hole, just a flat surface.

The keypad is very water and dust resistant and is extremely durable. With its TCP capability, the keypad can virtually be placed anywhere. Furthermore, this metal keypad is currently being tested for outdoor placement for security uses, such as in gas stations, car washes and parking lots to monitor security cameras. Using the network of the cameras, the keypad will send commands to the pre-programmed functions. The cameras will then move accordingly, rotating and monitoring the area, or staying still in a set position.
